How has life been treating you people? What can i assume, is a good treatment. But, not the best. Well, it has been the same story line since the big bang, with probably the variable plots.
So you do not need to worry about the story line, instead, need to modify the plot as per your desire and passion.
Germans used "Fiscian" for those organisms who used to live exclusively in water, but as a verb, centuries ago. Later, the old people speaking old English tried something new. They pronounced a new word, as a noun, for such water-inhabiting population. They called them - "The Fisc".
Wow! so new.
Then someone secretly informed the Dutch superiors about that innovative discovery of Germans & Englishmen. How could the Dutch tolerate this? They planned to derive more real-to-situation name. So, they did really something novel and suggested the word "Vis" & "Vissen".
That Vis & Vissen proved to be the milestone in initiating an innovative "Name-The-Being War" in the world. GOD !!! Superpowers jumped into that arena & chose to prolong the war till victory of their own.
Germans snatched the Englishmen's transcript and added just "h" & "hen" in the end, pronouncing those organisms as "Fisch" & "Fischen".
Irish, Gothics, Latins & Norse also decided to involve in that chaotic war and devised different labels.
Through those years of war, world categorically ignored the rights of those organisms. How Cheap!
They just cared for their win & neglecting the fact that every figure in the water could not be same. They could have their own identity.
After a long era of war, some good-gentlemen stood for the rights of water-inhabiting obligates and strived to look for the final resolve. Because of their zealous-untiring efforts, they killed the Ares - The Greek God of War.
It was their struggle, the modern world is now able to differentiate among the H2O obligates.
